First render of the new year! Woot! When W'rath isn't doing terrible things to various non-elven humanoids, or Exile dark elves, he's more than happy to help corrupt, er, educate young minds. The kid with the blue hair is a VERY young Elladan who can be seen in a more adult form in a few of my renders in the gallery here. Some folks are surprised that W'rath is a cat person. He likes them for a few reasons. First, he admires their independence. He would never call anyone master and has trouble respecting anyone or anything that would. Two, cats seem to like him and he sees that as a sign of their high intelligence and excellent taste. Third, K'hul can't stand them and surrounds himself with dogs. That alone is good enough reason for W'rath to make sure any time K'hul deigns to darken his door the First Born is stared at by numerous feline eyes. Starting to use Genesis more and more. W'rath is still M4, but all of the kids are Genesis. The only thing I'm not liking about Genesis is the way it handles collision with hair. Elf ears play havoc with it. On some of the hair you can dial down the ear morphs on the hair to get rid of the issue, but some of the hair, like the V5 Ponytail don't have that morph. As best I can tell you have to unconform the hair and place it like a prop to get around that. A bit of a hassle. I did not try that with this render, so I ended up doing a lot more postwork on the hair than normal. Hopefully, it isn't too jarring. Said postwork would not have been possible without CWRW Mane-N-Tail Pack 3 by cwrw (Rendo). I know its original intent was for horses, but I have found it very useful for people as well. I'm feeling lazy tonight, so I won't go through all the gory details on what clothing and such was used. However, if you see something and want to know what it is please feel free to PM me.
