Description

Zlata led the girls to a clearing where they found a frozen pond. The mist had cleared so the girls felt a lot easier & happier that they hadn't got lost, even though they hadn't a clue where they were going to end up. They were surprised Zlata did. Zlata ran foreward & started dancing about on the ice, doing all her dance moves. "Zlata you must be very careful on ice" shouted Jasmine, for once she was sounding very cautious. "I agree" said Meadow, "Please do as Jasmine says & watch what you are doing." "I am alright" said Zlata in her jolly singing voice. "You are at the moment" Meadow replied, she was getting quite scared for Zlata, as she was being very silly. You had to be so careful standing on ice, let alone dancing about on it. "Come on you two, lets all have some fun." she said. "I will stay here, if you don't mind" Jasmine answered her. "Me to" said a cautious Meadow. "Oh don't be miserable, you two. Can you see any signs saying KEEP OFF THE ICE" NO, I didn't think so." Zlata shouted as she danced & slipped all over. "This will only end in tears" Meadow shouted over to Jasmine. "I have to agree," she replied. Meadow couldn't believe how sensible Jasmine was being. "Oh well we will just have to wait until she has had enough & hope she doesn't fall & hurt herself," Meadow said. So the girls just stood & watched Zlata as she danced & hummed & sang. She was so happy & had that lovely glow about her. The girls hoped she stayed that way. Background - Leilana Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

CRACK!!! Uh, oh:) Reminds me of a small pond near my boyhood home. Ice skating was fun...just never got very good at it. Weak ankles I think...

Oh dear .. I sense something is about to happen! I hope it doesn't involve a certain little Dollie getting all wet and cold! Aside from the sense of impending disaster .. it is a beautifully created scene! Barb you are truly a great artist! Your scenes are wonderfully beautiful! I think you've found your talent (besides raising beautiful happy dogs)!
