Description
A man from an interlocked complex of villages on the northern edge of Kabul Province. Nearby was a destroyed operating center of Achmed Shah Massoud, who fought against the Taliban from that place.

The folks I meet who've spent time in AF all have pretty much the same stories. They like the people, the culture, and the food. They are not too thrilled with the politics, but then, that is the AF reality. These images have a lot of character in them. Looks a fascinating place to visit.
