In the real world, The Chiefs had been knocked out of playoff contention by the Raiders the week before, so they had nothing to play for - yet, the Chiefs aquired Kyle Orton from the Broncos a Month before.... Denver was playing for the AFC WEST Championship - they lost the game, but still won the Title. The Raiders could of made the playoffs, but San Diego beat them. In the Denver/KC game, there was a turning point in the game, Tebow had a defensive player grab his facemask and then grabbed the back of his helmet - 15 yard penalty... two refs had their eyes right on it (I looked at film later) - Tebow complained, but no flags were thrown - Denver ended up kicking a field goal.
