Description
This is WIP. I am wondering why the thighs can't be covered by the jeans. What am I doing wrong or is it just because I'm asking my character to sit down? I normally won't be showing my character from above like this, but do plan on having her posed from the side and in that pose the jeans do have the holes on the thighs as you can see easier here. The jeans are from Rhiannon so I know they are a high quality clothing. I know I don't have the hands and arms posed correctly either and haven't touched the lighting yet. Any help or constructive criticism is very welcome because it is only through criticism and hints that I can learn.

as above some products just will not behave and no parameters to make them.I often fail to read the readme and find myself with clothing that is lacking.if possible you can use clone in psp or ps to fill in the areas.following the above directions may help also sometimes it is possible to reduce the thigh of V4 also to hide problems

Wonderful work,

This is a very common happening, and your going to see it more and in different parts of the body of the caracter your using...Though there are many ways to fix this, my advice would be to simple select the characters thigh and then go to properties an un-check the box marked visible...her thigh should disappear. this method is used alot. another thing you could try is select the thigh of the jeans, go to parameter select rotation; bend, side-side, and adjust them to move the thigh over hers. this is done in very small increments... I hope this help you, and pose the resolts...and keep rendering... DAN..

Welcome to the Poser club! A lot of working in Poser is just putting on your favorite background music and taking your time when you're working. And also tons of experimenting....for me it was tons and tons and tons. While sometimes you can find a morph (one of those dials) in the clothing to adjust it so there's there's no poke-through like this, I usually do what everyone else already suggested. I select the leg and uncheck the visibility box. That's usually enough to fix the problem on legs and pants. Your first Poser render looks a lot better than mine ever did- Keep it up!

Looking really good so far !

Just starting out you may not want to expand into this, but there are a couple of folks out here who have really good stand-a-lone executables that will allow you to add figure parts (lthigh, relbow, etc) to conforming clothes so you can match the morphs. Even then, they're not perfect. I started out hiding (making invisible) body parts under the clothing. But parts sometimes don't match and you may be missing a major part of a collar bone. :o You've started out with a good set, a great picture and idea. My wife is confined to a wheelchair and this model looks great. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. :o)

I like to just hide the leg underneath as well, but there is also the method of creating a custom magnet. It's fairly simple just select the body part in question (the pants thigh) and create a magnet for that part. Just pull the magnet after getting the zone where you want it to adjust the pants over the legs. Magnets sound difficult when you 1st start, but things get easier after using them awhile. Lighting is also something to play with to get the hang of. Which version or Poser do you have? Regardless, it's all trial & error. Read all the tutorials you can find online (there's a LOT of cool ones) & for the most part have fun and don't let yourself get frustrated! This is a great job on your 1st pic (a lot better than mine). There are more ways than one to create pics just find what works for you.
