Description
Eekdog made Mike a lovely tattooed lady .. I thought she might need a tattooed horse for transportation to his Birthday Party! I'm guessing there's Big Doings planned at Fae Valley to celebrate Mike's Birthday! Queen Zlata the Wise must have been planning for months now!
Mike, I'm wishing you the very best year ahead, filled with creativity, joy, health, prosperity, and all things good. May troubles stay far, far away from you.
The horse is from a stock photo by Colourize at Deviant Art. The back ground texture from Flickr was created by Skeletalmess, as was the basis for the horses texture. Did quite a bit of tweaking to acheive the results. Who knew playing with textures could be so much fun! The tree is painted by me. The gargoyle in the tree is free clip art acquired way back when I didn't have sense enough to keep track of where things came from.
Many thanks for stopping to view, comment, and fave the previous post. I am slowly working my around galleries .. just leave the lights on so I don't fall over anything when I get to your gallery in the middle of the night, grins.

He's gorgeous. Love the way you got the pattern to compliment his conformation....the dark parts on his neck and hindquarter, the light bar going straight up his shoulder, and the stripes around his nose. It works perfectly...did you try a bunch of different orientations, or did you get lucky with the first try? Oh yeah, the thumbnail...that killed me for a while. You've gotta close the browser, if I remember, then call it back up. I think your computer stores a copy of the webpage and won't show the changes.

A wonderful birthday greeting for Mike and I am sure he will be delighted with this one. Fabulous work with the horse, that is a great texture and it fits beautifully, and you do look to have had a lot of fun making this. That is a superb tree you have drawn too with very cute branches. The whole image goes together so well. Excellent work.
