Spotted while walking through Gordes (which was featured in yesterday's posting). The stone wall seen here is typical of Gordes - in fact, it is the only kind of property boundary allowed in the town. Fences are prohibited, as are above ground electrical or phone lines, which helps to preserve the charm of Gordes...

Nice idea, capturing the live cat with the cat statue. Too bad the live cat didn't sit up straight like the plaster one. Gordes may do much to hide modernity, but a TV antenna or something like it is visible on that chimney in the upper right, not to mention the modern metal mailbox.
