I would love to say the bird is looking graceful, but he seems to be all legs, bill and neck. But the overall shot is very dramatic, and very beautiful. Sorry you had problems with the implants. Did they put in some artificial bone to strengthen the existing bone?

A super capture with great colours and the pelican looks as if he has had a hard day. I hope he lands safely. Those implants sound rather horrible, I hope you weren't in too much pain.

That sounds like an "ouch" about your implant. Hope everything comes out okay. Great capture on the Pelican.

I was wondering what had happened to you. Excellent clarity and ocean and sky colors and textures in this fabulous capture, Jock, and the image of the pelican coming in for a landing is super.

Cozumel is beautiful too. This is a great capture, Pelican's silhouette is excellent. MrsLubner is right, Pelicans are hardly poetic, but this has done his best. I thought you were going on vacation, not to be operated. I hope everything will go well, and not suffer much pain.
