Description

More from 138. This one was taken from the car as we twisted along ...(I was the passenger). Sometimes you just want the shot and there isn't anywhere to stop! I have a few more from this area to share. It was my lucky day! My previous upload, "It's All in the Altitude". Thank you for your condolences. hugs, ~Melinda~

I've read Dune one too many times, I think, because when I saw the title to this shot, I immediately expected to see Paul--Muad'Dib--Atreides riding a giant sandworm. I wonder about me at times. Well, after realizing that you weren't making a trip to Arrakis and photographing Fremen warriors ("desert power") I started exploring this photograph, and I have to say that I love it. Even if there aren't any sandworms. Oh well. Your POV is spot-on-perfect and I suspect that if I were in a passenger seat going by this scene, I'd nab it too. Brilliant work. I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother and my thoughts are with you. I'm sure you have all sorts of wonderful memories and so hold on to those.
