Description

My daily visitor right outside the window, is the tiny 'Superb Fairy-wren' (Malurus cyaneus), here in South East Australia. Often in family parties, a blueish dominant male and brownish females - they catch all the insects on the orange-coloured flowering shrub called Abutilon (Chinese Lantern). She gets all flustered and puffs out her little chest feathers when she warbles - the insert shows, what she normally looks like - and she is part of the cutest family I've ever met ... Ace capture there BB, the natural lighting silhouette rocks as does the star attraction and her ruffled feathers ! Also the way they jump/fly up and catch those critters is hilarious, but I guess we only get to share that...make a video version and YouTube it ? ~Cheers~
