Description
a short time ago I lost my eldest sister to ovarian cancer.......today another of my sisters has the same cancer....these are good loving healthy people, they have caused no harm, stolen no wealth, fought no wars....my first sister at 52 and now my next sister has just celebrated her 50th.....
she lay in hospital now, we know not what lies ahead
I felt a little hopeless when I created this
I wanted to create an image with great impact
and all I could manage was a falling drop of blood and my outstretched hand
life is so delicate
like a precious flower that looks good for only one day
if you didn't wake up this morning and smile
if you didn't hug the closest person to you
if you complained because your back hurt
your belly is too fat
your feet are sore
........
please remember to smile
and be nice to each other

thank you my beautiful friends... we will get through this... it is the circle of life our family has grown by seven beautiful children in the last 7 years and we have lost but one beautiful sister....it is the way of the world....everything evolves with time. cheers Carl

Sneakier and deadlier than breast cancer. And it's not getting the attention that it should from researchers nor is the equally deadly cervical cancers. I lost a very close friend to it. She was just 19 with her life starting to open up ahead of her. I miss her terribly. Compelling image. My condolences for what they might be worth.

I just came across this and I am so sorry to hear of this news. I pray that the Lord will give you all the strength to face what is to come whatever that might be. It is part of the circle of life. All you can do is keep up hope and enjoy your sister's company even if she is in the hospital.
