Description

....and more importantly, is it worth it? Bella froze. She appeared calm but her mind was feverishly making calculations. Calculations? Guesswork was more like it... "How sweet," the familiar voice mocked. "You're going to hold on to your gun, aren't you?" Bella didn't even realize that, but she was aware of the gun behind her head steadying. Poised. Ready to blast her head off. She was treading on thin ice. Yet her training persisted. The gun stayed. Loose, deceptively harmless. It had fooled many of the less capable beings. She was quite sure though that her predator wasn't one of them. "So they think sending my favourite student after me would change the outcome?" Sneering. Silent and dangerous. Was the thin ice breaking already? "That I would go soft? Make the pendulum swing in their favour?" Bella stiffened. Was that hurt she detected in her voice? No, there was something else; resignation? Resolve? For what? Of course. Bella froze for the second time, but then instinct took over. It was her or Alice. She made her move. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Me hopes you enjoyeth! :D Thanks for stopping by folks, and have a great weekend ahead!

Wonderful render - very dramatic and great realism - and the commentary works really well too!

As always, a very technically proficient piece. The girl on the left is holding what seems to beavery large gun, which I assume would be quite heavy. With that in mind, the grip she is displaying looks to me to be too light. Either the gun is a feather-weighted weapon (which I doubt) or the pose is not realistic enough. I must admit as well that I had a negative reaction to an image of someone pointing a gun at someone's head.

Bella had no choice. Slowly, she lifted her thumb up and carefully off the back of her modified Glock 19. No voice yet broke the silence. The barrel of a modified scatter gun planted firmly against the back of her head was doing all the talking now. She dared not let herself be seen smiling, but couldn't help marveling to herself how quickly she had gone from being the pursuer to being the prey. ..things were about to go exactly as planned.
