Description

As I was wandering in the heat of Dubai along the waterfront, where the docks are, there, right next to some engineering building, was this large flowering bush. I thought, maybe there'll be some bees and popped my 55-200 tele on. What I found were these huge black sinister looking flying insects, acting very much like bees in Darth Vader costume. It was not easy moving right in there with them, believe me. Anyway, grabbed a few shots before they grabbed me. They were about 1.5 inches long. Massive bugs. You get the full impact when you view this one larger.

The force must be strong in you Karl to keep away the rest of the swarm ! Sinister indeed, right down to the deadly claw on the end of each leg, just like some evil flying Raptor, although the wings do look a bit more cheery ! ~Cheers~
