Description
Bill (bmac62) asked yesterday if Meadow ruled the roost. Funnily enough janeeden & I were talking about who were the bosses amongst our 4 legs, yesterday.
When we lost Hattie in 2007, Carla 'B' automatically became top dog, she was very fair & the girls repsected her right up until the day we said goodbye.
Now who has taken over, sweet, quiet, cuddly, so laid back she is horizontal Meadow.
OR
I want, I must have, I must be first, joker in the pack Jasmine.
We have a BOSS girl, who do you think it is :o)

I would guess Meadow is (or should be) the boss. I love Jasmine to pieces, but Meadow strikes me as more thoughtful and able to effectively take charge. lol Jasmine tends to make me think of a busy teenager, while Meadow is a laid back adult.

I would have said Jasmine as she likes to take what belongs to everyone else lol but in a way I can't see Meadow letting her get away with it.. so I say Meadow but without seeing them interact with one another on a daily basis it hard to say.. But they are both lovely to me!!

Having a senior female Westy in our house and seeing how she puts up with just so much from young dogs and then let's 'em know who's boss...I am going to go with Meadow. Serious/thoughtful...but with seniority.

Well I know already and guessed it when she was the one who took control over the bed even though they both wanted it. Yes it has to be Meadow, hugs and love xxxxxxx love the pics and I swear Jasmine has the longest tongue xx

I would've guessed Jasmine .. but in retrospect, it's the quiet ones you have to watch, they are the most logical to be the top dog. They are usually the most fair. Gracie Anne was like that, she was the Queen of the house. Now Murphy is, mostly because when Gracie Anne was sick, Murphy would fiercely drive the B-dog away from her so he became a bit afraid of him I think. Murphy began to protect her. Or maybe he was just practicing being the top dog, ready to take her spot when the time came, grins. I know it is wrong, I know we are supposed to let the course of events happen how they will, but defended right to be the Reigning Royalty to the last day. Not that I needed to very often. Just when Murphy would try to sneak into one of her favorite spots, grins.
