Description
Went to the only "quaking bog" in Illinois last weekend. Even though it was mostly frozen over, it was still very interesting to see.
By definition, a quaking bog is;
A floating mat of thickly woven mosses, rushes, and shrubs that forms across the surface of shallow ponds and may shimmy or shake when walked on.
Thanks for looking and your comments.

What a gorgeous shot! I love the way you do IR. The contrasts and light are just amazing. I think I'd skip the "walking on the bog" thing in favor of dry feet, but the idea is remarkable!
