Description

This is Kachina Bridge, at Natural Bridge National Monument, in Utah. It is 210 feet (64 meters) high, with a 204 foot (62.18 meter) span, 44 feet (12.41 meters) wide and 93 feet (28.35 meters) thick. It is much bigger than the previously posted Owachomo Natural Bridge. Kachina Bridge is in its early stages of erosion and looms huge and bulky. Flood waters in White Canyon still work to enlarge this bridge. Those are trees in the canyon and not bushes. Info from the National Park Service pamphlet. Photos taken in 1996 and recently scanned.
