Description

The day I visited the San Diego Zoo was almost perfect - for humans - Temp in the low 70's, sunny, a light breeze. But for the critters used to a much chillier clime the best idea was napping in the sun. I watched this fellow for several minutes - hoping one of the other polar bears would make an appearance. For some reason this guy raised his head and looked around for about 30 seconds - just long enough for about a hundred cameras to capture his handsome face - and then went back to his nap. Enjoy.
