Thanks for all your comments on my previous pictures. Looking through your gallery, Elke, I saw that you love mythology. So I chose the myth of Narcissus and I have made an interpretation to wish you a Happy Birthday, Elke! I hope you like my image. Story Narcissus was a hunter of great beauty. A soothsayer had predicted that he would live long if he did not know himself. Very proud, he rejected all his suitors. When he rejected the nymph Echo, she cast a spell. One day he will drink from a spring, he saw his image and fell in love with it. He could not do anything but look at his image, and finally he withered and died.
