Description

In the Garden Centre cafe with those lights in the background. The pretty lass on the right is my Visual Communications student lodger from the AUCB (Arts University College Bournemouth), with her Mum on the left. Wang Jun came to stay from Shanghai for a week, and it was wonderful to meet her. It's now likely that Yiming will stay at my house for the full 3 years of her course, and I am SO pleased about that. When Wang Jun met my brother on a dog walk she apologised for her English not being very good, but, as Derek remarked, it's an awful lot better than his Mandarin!

I was so surprised to read that Wang Jun was Yiming's mother!! I thought they must be school chums. After looking more carefully I can see they're mother and daughter, but her first impression is of such vitality and fun! I'm glad you had a good time and that Yiming will be able to stay with you for a while. She looks like a delightful person!

First visit? How fortunate for Yiming to have you to look to for this fish out of water. A wonderful portrait of two lovely ladies. It must be exciting for both of them. See if Yiming knows how to cook. I roomed with Chinese students once and the meals were memorable. I still use the recipes to this day.

Such a LOVELY two! I'm touched by seeing daughter and mother. Asking myself, which one would be more proud. As I look at it, I see the daughter is so proud and happy to her mother. Also nice to see the mother looks a little cross-eyed. So impressing, Andrea!
