well, I got my wish and we were gifted with about 4 inches of snow over the course of the night - this shot was taken about 10pm last night

Congrats... we got about 5 inches through the day yesterday, first real snow of the year and about 45 days later than usual. Nice nightime shot Mike.

Nice night shot. Interesting to see how the light diminishes with distance from the camera, particularily on the snow flakes. The big looking ones are quite close. I hope the bird feed is well supplied - the birds will be needing it now that the ground is covered with snow. Keep up the good work! :-)
