Description

Task Completed. With the final elements of the new Von Braun Space Platform now relocated into space and joined to the station the new facility is now comprised of the Control Monitoring Station (CMS) with its linking module, docking ports and additional elements. The CMS will act as a miniature Mission Control in space with the series of four remote docking extension arms on the linking module used individually for the docking and un-docking from the station of the ML-1 and ML-2 spacecraft along with the additional elements which make up NASA’s long-term goals in space. The lower docking areas of the station will be used accommodate up to three of NASA’s Orbital Shuttle fleet or other NASA spacecraft.
