When I use to Drive a truck,I was making a delivery up in this Urban area,Hundreds of these critters were flying across the road...and what a nasty splating effect it was when I hit them with my Truck..When I got to my delivery point the front of my Truck was covered with these guys..YUCK!...LOL Excellent Close-Up

How can I put this? Someone sits in their study or bedroom and spends 16 hours recreating this insect. (Looks like a Cicada and I live in London!) And your good self ventures out and takes a stunning photo. I mean is this world weird and wonderful or what? Peace out...

I dig this one man! Maybe a touch of spot sharpen on the eye. Man these things are wicked looking. I heard a couple in the trees when I was in AZ. But couldn't find them. Colors on this one are very cool!
