Description
These girls are bored in the little Town of Never Home.they want to see the big city.
What they don’t know yet is that the big city is a monster,a monster that swallows you
if you don’t watch out.
I agree I could not live in the craphole I grew up in,too many bad souvenirs and indeed the streets have narrowed over the years.i was once back in the late 80s for a schoolclass-meeting (very nice btw-we have been a “mixte” class our first schoolyear,and the little girls and boys all grew up together for a while – some even married in the clique and some got divorced in the process).
But later when I walked through the street I grew up in,I did not felt good at all,all the buckets of blood spilled in our house jumped at me and I quickly left that place lol.
Anyway this image is dedicated to all the people who find their little city boring and don’t feel at home anymore in a certain phase in their life.
I can understand that you look for your luck elsewhere,but the gold and glitter will soon loose the shine and may only leave ashes.
And best friends can become enemies,especially when working in adjacent windows lol.
Be careful.Watch the big city,many many dangers.But then at home maybe the Good Uncle is the real danger,the one can never know in advance whats coming and that’s a good thing ,maybe not to know.

Awesome image Rene. The gals look super, and your story is so very true. We live in a very small town. I know a lot of the young folks are so eager to move away to the city as soon as they can get away from home. Most of them find in short order how nasty life in the city can be.

When I went back, I felt the same. Besides. All the street signs were changed into Chinese in my part of Los Angeles (Monterey Park). Lol. Never returned. Its been 25 years now.
