Description
If we have to choose one outdoor related activity while in Aspen, it was to visit Maroon Bells. Its three prominent and sharply defined peaks are some of the most photographed mountains in North America. Hike the trail around Maroon Lake, which is easy and offers spectacular views of the mountains reflecting off the shimmering water.
We are going back this year.

This is so gorgeous! When I was a little girl I often used to draw and paint an imaginary view just like this..I have no idea how I knew how it looked, but maybe I had seen this in the National Geographic magazine!

Oh gosh, Ed, this is just a spectacular view! What a gorgeous photograph. Try fiddling around with levels, contrast and brightness and see what happens. (Go to Image on your menu bar, then choose Adjustments, and see what's available to play with. Levels and Brightness/Conrast will produce amazing results!) Play around and see if you like what you find! :)
