Description

This little place was two doors down where I was staying and it had wonderful food. I loved it. If you did not know it was there you would never saw it. mostly the locals go there. i had bought place lunches and other food from them and it was all good. never got sick from it so it all good. prices is good too. for $5 i got a place lunch and drink. here in USA that would cost from $8 to 9 dollars for the same thing. the place I was at is about a mile or so out side the city oh forgot the good news . helped some one finded they sister after 33 years of not seeing her. she was 2 years old at the time . here the link http://www.city-data.com/forum/louisiana/1101242-looking-mom-can-anyone-help-3.html#post22635557

it reminds me of the days you wake up after having a party and dirty dishes everywhere but still need to cook your guests breakfast - lol - glad you didn't get sick, makes me wonder how long those eggs have been sitting out.

Cool capture of what I believe is a cafe down Mexico way, Jock. I don't think I'd be comfortable eating anything there. I read today on the Internet that our border with Mexico is more dangerous than Afghanistan, because of the drug cartels.

This kind of place is very common,Not only in Mexico, but here in El Salvador and in all Central America. The prices of restaurants are too high for employees who earn $300 or less at month, and works far from their homes, so this places are very popular. You can get a good meal for $2 and sometimes for $1.50 (You were near of the border Jock, prices are a little higher there) As for cleanness, well, you can quote Dirty Harry " Do I feel lucky today?..." And Jock, wonderful history about the family reunion, God bless you, my friend.

Sometimes these places have the best food. If the locals line up to eat - it must be good.
