Description


Balearica pavonina gibbericeps. When I looked at this photo, I said to myself, "They are dancing!" When I did some research on these birds this evening, I discovered they really DO dance. This is one of my very favorite bird images. They lived free at the local zoo, free to leave had they chosen to do so. I haven't seen them lately, and this was years ago.
