A view from the trail along Lake Tahoe Christmas Day. I don't think it's possible to get a bad shot of Tahoe; it truly is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!!

I remember Tahoe many years ago...I flew a light plane into an airport right on the edge of the lake and next to a golf course. The airfield's elevation was above 6000 feet which makes a light plane labor to take off and to climb. I think we circled over the lake for at least 10 minutes to reach a high enough altitude to go through the mountain pass back into California...enroute back to Monterey. Those are fond memories...1964-ish. Where does the time go? :) Outstanding composition!
