Description
Having a bit of down time while "on assignment" gave me the chance to capture this close-up of the center piece on my table. I am the photographer and new member of this wonderful group of women called Women, Wisdom and Wine.
Here is what it is all about -
"Introducing a new conversation series designed for and dedicated to women and information. This provocative 9 session series offers busy women an opportunity to learn about and explore current and timely topics that should be of interest to women of all ages."
Within the last 3 months I have gotten to meet and listen to Patty Wetterling, Peter Rothstein and our own WCCO anchor Amelia Santaniello.
And I thought I was busy LAST year! Hopefully, your 2012 has started out on the bright side.

trying to catch up in your gallery, I remember the occasion for this shot, and the shot too. The wine bottle actually looks like it's used for a candle, but it's a beautiful bottle. And the other stuff around it makes an intimate potpourri. I can't tell if that's a book there, but it seems like it, with old endpapers and the striated binding. The piece is awash in purple undertones, and the reflections in the plate are delicate. A sweet capture of what you described, a gathering of friends to share issues of concern to women, and to share friendship period. I like that you cut it off at top, because it takes us into the image even more, and makes it all the more intimate. You posted this January 21st? Good, i'm only 5 months off! Nice intimate shot...(extra ebots are from a bad connection...I'm not on my main connection right now!)
