Description

A long time ago in a place far, far away...she greets the light of a new day, a new beginning for her world, and the bright promise of great things to come. This is my first image produced in DAZ 4 Advanced. As many of you know I still produce all of my images on a 13 inch MacBook with a Duo Core processor. The only tools of my trade are a touchpad and my finger! Keeping that in mind, let me say I am happy so far with DAZ 4. The biggest improvement for us Mac users is that it now comes in a 64 bit version for Mac. This greatly improves my workflow, and especially render times. I am still trying to get use to the interface, but its not bad. The autofit tool is really nice for clothing your Genesis characters, but it does use a bit more CPU. V5, featured here, is great to work with, but definitely needs some good textures. DAZ 4 crashes no more frequently for me than DAZ 3 did, and it is almost always because I am overtaxing my little processor. So far I am happy, and I hope you like my new beginning image. Wonderful first try there! Great colors on her. Love it. While I too loved DAZ4 Advanced I got my hands on Poser Pro 2012 and I think I like it better....Although there is a certain light quality in Studio. At any rate cheers on this one!

I also have DS4 (free version) but I definitely prefer Poser mainly because I can spread the different windows over my two screens, it's easier. I amazed at how good your creations are knowing your work on a 13-inch laptop...this one is top level.

i agree with angel,this is an epic work and considering the hardware you have even more respectable.excellent work. ps i saw someone doing better images in bryce 4 than most others can produce with bryce 6/7 lol depends a lot on the artist to be able to sqeeze out of his hardware and you did it very well.

Beautiful render.. Lighting, pose and textures are awesome. Glad to hear you are getting use to Daz4. I gave up and requested my money back. Stay with Poser2012 and Daz3.
