Description
I decided that I was just not happy with my early car renders and went in to the surfaces tab and started removing the packaged reflections and creating real ones.....instantly the cars paint and chrome became real and the last few posts reflect that.
I remembered that I had bought this Harley quite some time ago and was disappointed with how it rendered. Now I am not

Oh yeah - real reflections whup the ass of reflection maps if you can take the render time hit, unless you go the trouble of doing a scene render to use as a reflection map that is (never have been a big fan of harleys though :) )

~So what's better than a girl and a car....presto...a girl and a motorcycle! :) I would love to know your trick to getting those nice reflections...its always been a tough spot for me.~

just go into the surfaces tab and select the surfaces you want to have reflections, get rid of the ones that come with the product...they are just there to speed up renders...set the reflection strength to the % you want...my chrome and paint is about 95% and voila metal and paintwork revealed of course you have to have a scene around them to reflect hope this helps Carl
