Drumbeat Charters has been operating since 1989 and is based in the famous fishing village of Hout Bay offering daily scenic cruises to one of Cape Town's main attractions.
Join our boat cruise to Duiker Island to see thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment and some of the most spectacular scenery the Cape Peninsula has to offer.
Our vessel,Drumbeat II, is licensed for 120 passengers and has ample outside and undercover area. The boat was custom designed , and has individual seating and bar facilities on board.
While aboard you are surrounded with breath-taking scenery of the famous Chapmans Peak Drive and the Sentinel Mountain. Join us on a longer cruise to view the seals and the Shipwreck in Maori Bay.
Drumbeat caters for local and international clients and as information sheets available in 25 different languages.
Our boat is available for Private Charters throughout the year which is a perfect option for private functions, company incentives, end of year parties and company or product launch events; take a look at some of our suggested itineraries including our magnificent one way cruise from Hout Bay to the V&A Waterfront or contact us for special custom made cruises.
Join us on our 1 hour special to the 'Seals & The Shipwreck' where you'll visit Duiker Island home of the Cape Fur Seals and then travel further along the Kabonkelberg Mountain range to Moari Bay to view the Shipwreck of the Boss 400 which ran a ground in 1995 in one of our Cape winter storms. At the time of the disaster the ship was one of the strongest crane barges in the world. A real spectacle not to be missed.

I enjoyed it too!

Great name for that boat! I like her hull shape too, a fairly fine entry which will give fewer jolts to passengers at the cost of a bit more up and down, but a better ride in the end. I would love to ride on that one! Excellent shot Christo!

A great looking boat and it must have been a terrific voyage. But where are the life jacket's ?

A very good question about the Life jackets Bipolar two. I did not see any life jackets around. That is something to think about.
