2012 is Year of the Dragon and it will arrive on February 4, 2012.
The Dragon of 2012 is a Water Dragon.
Water has a calming effect on the Dragon’s temperament. Water re-directs the Dragon’s enthusiasm, and increases his perceptive of others. These Dragons are excellent at taking a step back to re-evaluate a situation as they understand the art of patience and desire the spotlight less than other Dragons. They make smart decisions and are able to see eye-to-eye with other people.
The dragon used to be the symbol of the Chinese emperor. The emperors throne was called the “Dragon throne” and according to the Confucian ideal the whole earth should be influenced in a positive way by the shining example of the emperors life. People born in the Year of the Dragon are in good health, bursting with energy, long-living, easy to irritate, impatient and obstinate.

Thanks for puting the date up there, I knew we were about to leave the year of the Rabbit - that's my year... I am a Rabbit and was going to do rabbit things this year - oh well, I'll just wait Eleven years - lol.... My Wife is born under the sign of the Dragon... I know she's a dragon cause when we go to the store my rabbit feet want to get moving and she's behind me, drag'n - lol
