Description

On day three, while we were docked in Walvis Bay and most of the passengers were off the ship, the crew had a life boat drill of their own. We had mustering exercise an hour after leaving Cape Town. Here they are holding role call while others practised launching the life boats. It was amazing to see how cosmopolitan the crew are and how many faces I had not seen yet on the cruise. They were always neat and well dressed in their uniforms. Have a great day! Clive

No swarthy, sweaty impressed sailors among them. Good to see this goes on.

Ah yes! Here we have an example of WHAT the crew and Officers of the Costa ship that sunk SHOULD have done lots of!!!! Instead of running! Often find that on Cruise ships, that the crews are from all over the world.. I knew and wrote to, members from Romania, Crete, and the Philippines! Good shot mate Rob

It takes a lot of people to run one of those floating cities, I'm sure! Great shot, Clive!
