Cool shot. I had a story on a hot air ballon festival when I was a reporter, and I got some inside shots like that. They always fascinated me. Scared to ride in one, though.

Yeah, perfect PoV! I see articles in the newspaper about ballooning events now and then but never seem to go. There is magic though when you are driving somewhere and just come upon them either on the ground getting ready or floating in the sky!

Having lived many years in New Mexico I am very familiar with balloon festivals. They are absolutely great events, just so beautiful specially when they first take off at early light! Great shot Richard!

These balloons look fabulous floating way up high.. Excellent capture.. here in New Zealand one of these caught fire and crashed killing 11 people earlier this month.. So tragic.
