This really works. One suggestion -- I think it would be an even better image without the "bird" in the foreground. But I do like this image.

To follow up on the previous comments, composition is good and you get a good sense of action, with the threat approaching from the left and the hero on the right. I don't think you have to necessarily get rid of the foreground pterodactyls, but their values and color are really close to the ground and the ruins. They blend into them so much, I didn't see the tilted bird for a while; I was trying to figure out what the random black spot (the shadow under the uplifted wing) was. I'd suggest changing the contrast, color or values of the birds to make them pop. Similarly, the hero contrasts nicely with the light background sand, but has values and colors very close to the ruins; if he had more color and/or contrasted more, I think you could focus the viewer's attention better.

It is a good scene, but it looks strange with that black wing in the forground, try us only on bird and place it a bit higer up and closer to the lower left of the picture. You could also try to zoom a bit out, but els well done:)

I concur with most of the negative criticisms above, but still it is an interesting composition with lots of details to grab one's attention, so I have to agree with the more positive comments as well.

I think it's an interesting scene- like a panel from a graphic novel; I get a sense of story here.
