I was born in the flat lands of Kansas in a family of nine. My love of images started when I was 11 in the mid60s and my mom brought home a box full of Life and Look mags. Being the middle child, withdrawn and depressed. I took these images, cut them up made collages to express myself. My Art form begain and so too my love of Photography. I still make Collages from found objects. But once I got my computer I turned to 3D Art. Then replace my old SLR with a digital and here I am. I now live on a small Island in the Puget Sounds. With my husband and two cats and a menagerie of wild life.

Sorry for your loss, and I have a hat just like that that I bought in Dollywood but could never get my dad to try it on. Just keep him in your heart and memory and in time it gets easier. I lost mine 2 years ago and I still wish he would tell me the same stories he has told me hundreds of times. God Bless!

Honey, I can feel this loss. Never met him but how I wish I had. From you photo I can find the imp in him that made him someone everyone loved to be around. He looks to have been a fabulous dad and the world is a sadder place for this loss.

94 wow, that itself is amazing, he sure looks like he enjoyed life to the fullest, love the photo. I lost my dad almost three years ago, and life has not quite ever been the same for me, but I have photos of him around the house, one especially that makes me smile when I am having a bad day that I go to and sort of talk to, it hangs on my fridge and I can not help but smile when I see it, maybe you can take this wonderful photo and do the same. I am so very sorry for your loss.

My heart is with you during this time. I lost my dad Oct 9th 1985, and my mom on Oct 10th 2005. My friends were really there for me during that time. We are here and we will listen. Most sweet and excellent capture of your dad. :)) He will be in your heart forever and day. :)))

Baby I love you so much, it kills me to see your tears. But we cry togeather, and we'll get through this togeather. There is a hole in our life now but I believe what Nikolais said. It is never empty, just beyond our sight right now. I will love you forever Babe. Bear

Bonita I am so so sorry. He looks like he had a rich life, filled with laughter and fun and love .. he'll live on in your heart and the hearts of his loved ones, just as your Mom does. But that's no help right now. He just looks like such a wonderful guy.
