Love the arts in all their forms: Fine Art, Music, Writing, etc. A traditional painter for many years, my introduction to painting on the computer came in 1999. As time goes by I find myself spending more and more time with my tablet and pen in hand. Guess I could have a worse addiction. Since the begining of 2006 I have immersed myself into the wonderful world of photography. I have learned so much in that time and feel ready to share my stuff with you now. I'm sorry I've been away so long, but stay tuned for a daily flood of my recent captures, :)
BIO
Hello everyone! My name is John Minelli. For as long as I can remember I have had a love of the arts in all of their forms and have been striving to be the be the best that I can be. Even though I have been creating art for many years, I still feel like an infant. I find it fascinating that every time that I pick up a brush, pencil or tablet and pen I still learn something new. Although I live in Savannah, GA, USA., I have a great love of Europe; especially Italy. I spent several years working in the Middle East and took several vacations in Europe. I fell in love with Rome and plan on going back to Italy as soon as possible.

Wonderful capture and motif. Beautiful but sad portraying. I heard there is only 700 left in the world. The main problem for the gorillas is... That humans are the last link in the food chain. Humans have no natural enemies, except for themselves. So they will destroy the gorillas first, then the planet earth, and the human race is next. #:o) This portrait is a good enviromental reminder.

''Silverback Gorillas share 98% of their DNA with us. At last count there were less than 800 of these magnificent creatures left in the wild.'' FIRST, WONDERFUL photowork!! .... Second, 'they' MISSED the 2% DUMB gene we 'humans' seemed to have received? .... WINK?
