YES... U just hit my spot baby.. lol Second complete Scene i've seen at renderosity. THIS i love..... It woulnd look bad in a Star Wars Ep mate.. if Star-Wars-thing were a 10 (1-10 scale) this would be an 8, cos o think ur textures on the robot are too expressive, Its soo good (the model) that the scratches on the edges could be 50% of what they are now (just my opinion tho) Cos texture is an "storytelling feature" just like modeling (the shape) and animation, ecerything tells me (the viewer) something about this robot, and the paint on this robot's skin, doesnt look real to me.. cos if the edges were that damaged, it should have been scradped around the floor for 2 days. And lookoing at his model and pose.... he AINT gonna let that happen..... It reminds me of scratches i once say on Italian terracotta pots... the're very soft... and crumbly... but again GREAT! but at this level of CGI... modelling is just a small percentage, cos ur now gonna have to convince people of the robot, not show em, and that the next step... hope u master it, cos i love thinking about it.. hope i one day can start from there too.... good luck m8
