Description

I often take close-ups of interesting textures & patterns that I see in nature, thinking that I will use them as the basis for a photo collage or somehow incorporate them into an artwork. Some of them seem interesting enough to me to stand on their own. Here's one of a maple leaf that is going through a color transition in autumn, with sunlight shining through from behind it. Worth a zoom... Thanks to p825979 for pointing out that this was not an oak leaf, as I had originally labeled it.
