Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

That's what my physical therapist stresses when I begin to totter on one leg. Stellar clarity, color and depth in this Tahoe pic, M.

It's funny cos I used to do this 15 years ago on my sailboard when the wind died! And now, everyone is doing it! So maybe I was the inventor. ;)

Brave or foolish? I think it looks like fun, but I'm not a good swimmer, so I think I'll leave it to the younger folk!

Invincible at that age, aren't they? They can't fall?? Wow. How nice for them! LOL!

He better not...young men like him drown every year in cold water lakes...hypothermia takes the strongest down in minutes. All that aside, cool picture.
