Description

Hmmmmm. This looks like the inside of my brain. Well, at least it's compartmentalized... Actually this is the "hundreds of little mirrors" section of the giant mosaic/mural/art installation thingy underneath the Lake Shore Drive overpass at Belmont Avenue in the Lake View area of Chicago. Photographed on October 31, 2011. I don't seem to have the time to post as often on Renderosity these days, much less catch up on all my comments, but I do appreciate everyone who is kind enough to view and comment on my gallery.

This looks like the title card to some swanky spy drama with really cool Lalo Schifrin music and a cast headed by...well...somebody swanky. But that's just me. I really like the "compartmentalization" in this shot and the impression that each part of this is its own little, self-contained world. Really well-seen. I like this a lot.

That little 'ENO YAW' sign plays with my grey cells..I want the arrow to point in the opposite direction. Well seen, and so curiously interesting.

Very interesting POV. At first glance its like looking thru a rope ladder, until you realize the signs are backwards. Sort of Alice thru the looking glass. Uniquely seen. Nice shot Corey.

Trippy! A totally ordinary, boring scene, made exciting and interesting just by breaking it up into pieces and jiggling it around. A simple concept, but oh, so effective! A most wonderful brain tweak!

Now, if you could have just waited until a 1970-something car entered one of the frames...but chances are you'd still be there. Like the way you've shaken this up.

Well spotted with each little scene neatly framed in the mirror. Hard to tell they are reflections.
