Gosh, Juliette! What a frightening expereince you've had!People who have no experience of breathing disorders have no concept of how awful it can be. This is a most remarkable object! It looks carved from wood or cast in metal.

This is fantastic Juliette. I really did think you had taken up MB3D when I saw this. Andrea is right that most people have no clue how much discomfort comes with breathing problems. I have emphasemia and have several times been asked to come talk to school kids about the hazards of smoking. It seems just talking to them about cancer does very little to get thru to them since it is just talk. But I am able to give them a taste of how emphasemia feels. You take a small plastic stirstick, they are like a very small bore straw. you have the kids put that in their mouth and pinch thier nose. then tell them to stay like that during the lecture until they are uncomfortable. It takes about 1 minute before they cant stand it anymore. Then you can explain with emphasemia that is how efficent your lungs work 24/7 all the time. remind them they are only sitting still and if they were moving or running that breathing would never work at all. It is a powerful demonstration that they quickly understand and once you ensure they know that almost all cases of emphasemia are self inflicted from smoking they finally get the idea.

So glad you are well again. Asthma attacs are awful and a week in the hospital is even worse, I know. And here you are, sharing this gorgeous XD creation. When I saw the image I did think for a minute it was a MB but coming from you I knew it HAD to be done in the program you master so well.

What a special object you've created, Juliette. It looks so strong, and now I'm hoping you'll become strong too, as soon as possible! Each day a bit better, take care dear friend.

I do hope you get your strength back soon as not being able to breathe is such a horrible feeling, you sound to have had a real bad episode. I love your fractal and you really have packed a lot into this sphere, it looks gorgeous. Great textures and patterns.
