Description

Just thought i would post this...not really a full scene but just tests on some drop down menus i found in the render options in Bryce....lol, yes after all this time i suddenly found them, they include true ambience, blurred transmissions, blurred reflections, dof, soft shadows,....and what a differenece it makes to the renders... this is simply a model with a cloud layer and the standard light set and a standard atmosphere... thanks for the peek..

Amazing what you discover after a while huh mate? lol I think I like the top test the most but then.... They all will have options in different works.. Good idea.. Rob PS: Am writing to Neil about 'Gold'.. He might want to go normal.. lol

Looks good and fascinating test. Although I got Bryce and it is getting more advanced I'm not likely to discover the finer points as I've got Vue. I like Bryce for producing pretty sky backgrounds easily.

All of the scenes are great, there are still buttons I have yet to try in Bryce, but one day I might, outstanding work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Indeed, great differences, all of us will discover surprises in our software if we take (or have) the time to look for them !

Great results. I like the bottom one best because of the great lighting. Corrie

I like the middle ones DOF, it looks great but all have their merits depending on the effect one is trying to achieve!!!

Nice example. Soft shadows can make all the difference. True ambiance must be a Vue equivalent for lighting in the shadows. This makes everything so much more realistic. Cool shot, thanks for sharing.

Ian! This is great! I'm glad you posted this, because I wasn't aware you could do something like this in Bryce (guess I just never ventured above the clouds, lol)! :O)

Wow, the settings really do make a difference. Nice comparisons, Ian. Don't feel bad - I'm still finding things in Poser and I've been using it since P5 was new.
