Hi All,
I just wanted to share my 1st Comipo character with everyone, My wife bought the program for me as a Birthday gift and I absolutely love it! :-)
Hitori is a character from a Story that I'm currently working on, god only knows when it'll be finished, gotta get over this darned writers block first!
As I mentioned above, She was created in a program called Comipo, it is a program for creating Manga, giving people that want to share the stories they've written but aren't able to draw or that aren't happy with their drawing skills the ability to bring their stories to life.
Note : You can make Anime with it, but it will take you a good amount of time, mainly because the program itself doesn't have animation capabilities. And it is a good choice to put life in this beautiful girl Manga, I love them, they are like us humans, but a little less bad kind .... Without wishing to hurt you my friend. I took a look at the program, and it seems pretty neat, though I'd be concerned (if this program gets around too much) about the "manga" looking all same-y. It really does look like a fun program to fun around with, but its like Poser for manga. I don't know if you have any real 2D talent, but if you do, I would suggest you check out openCanvas and MangaLabo, which can both be found at: http://www.portalgraphics.net/en/ Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love manga, and I'm all for creating work quickly, but don't forsake the importance of traditional 2D illustration. That can only help whatever you create with the program. Still, good luck, and I greatly look forward to what you come up with using this program. Keep us posted!
