Description

Press ANY key to continue...... :) During 3DCommune times, I had converted this amazing (free) typewriter model into a "Barcode Writer". Now I slightly updated that scene, added more "functionality" and fixed few noticeable detail and textures issues. DISCLAIMER: This is *not* Steampunk, because this typewriter runs on battery power, not steam!! (512 AAA batteries not included.) ;) Kudos/Hints: - Typewriter C4D R9 model from www.3dsoftware.cz - Floppies and floppy drive from other free sources. - Model tweaked and keyboard lettering added in Cinema4D R9 then resp R12 now. Rendered in R12 Studio. - PhotoImpact 10 for some of the texture work.

Sehr Kreativ, gute Arbeit. Macht mich doch etwas nachdenklich. Im Zeitalter der Rationalisierung ! Vielleicht sollte man nicht jedes alte Eisen ins Feuer werfen ! Wo kann ich meinen Kurbeldynamo anschließen ? ha ha :)

Great image and machine so not mechanically driven like old typewriters huh. 512 AAA batteries would take all day to change them.. Great humour!!

This is very clever Hubert, even just to think of such an invention - and Tattooists will be back in great demand, all you need is to invent a retro-bar-code reader now ... oh, and no more floppy discs! BB

That´s really heavy stuff, and maybe a reflection about the brain capacity of the next generation. The Alt and the Ctrl buttons might also be obsolete ;-)))

LOL Now all I gotta do is learn what the heck the barcodes mean! Well done. I got to thinking about this. So I'm adding a PS. This looks like the ultimate hunt-and-peck machine. You can even use it ham-fisted if you want to!
