I thought Renderosity used to have a seperate sight for the more "carnal" images...does anyone remember what it was? Gods, that must have been years ago. BTW, I didn't fall for it, I knew you had to be trying something to make a point. Very clever...and a good point.

I had a feeling I would see something other than what was promised when I clicked...which was just why I DID click, and I was not disappointed. :) I LOVE the sentiment in this one, I don't mind nudity when it truly IS art, but I am plenty artistic, and I have not done ONE (nope, not one) nude picture, and I really don't have any plans to. I'll leave that to the 3344595945844763 million other people who prefer to render that type of thing. :D And btw, as an image all on it's own, that cow is rather snazzy, I like her.

I wasn't fooled, I must say. I came here to read what the "nude posters" (hobbists or professionals) had to say about it, and as expected, just a few are unconfortable by having lost their high rankings to a cow pic (how many nipples can you see there?!). I don't see any problem in the "Top 10" or whatever it's called being filled with nudes, neither I can judge their quality technically speaking (I don't know how to even start with Poser). Visually speaking though, some (some!) are quite realistic and nice-looking, and they are art as much as this cow pic is, but a great portion of the cross-eyed Poser models could be posted somewhere else, letting some more free bandwidth for babe cows like this. Fake meat by fake meat, I prefer this cow. Honestly.

I just registered for renderosity, and as I registered, there was an option for "no nudity." I thought to myself "Ok, if I click that, I may miss some quality artwork. If I leave it unchecked, chances are I will be bombarded with the 'art' of 17 year old boys who happened to get their hands on Poser, and they read too much fantasy and scifi..." So, I checked it. Go ahead, renderosity, censor the art I see. I volunteer. So, upon seeing your thumbnail, I thought "lotta good THAT did... Must be some kind of catch to this.." HA! Catch indeed! You made my day! I argue that THIS fits into the category of "real art" a whole lot more than most other crap. I think people who say "dont preach at me!" dont realize that art can (and should...) have a POINT. An actual MESSAGE. Kinda deals with you on a real psychological level. I dig it.

I think equros is the small minded kid. Stupid fucker...90% of the shit posted here of nude women is far from art. Any idiot can post some tits. I love em, dont get me wrong.But tits get hits and a lot of REAL art gets left out in the cold because all most of you want to see is Naked chicks. I was noticing a LOT of nude pictures when I had the nude ban OFF. I don't have it off usually, but if I'm showing my girlfriend something on here, I don't want breasts popping up here and there. Just a random complaint here. Nudity I don't mind, but not just for the sake of seeing tits. If your intents are to make a realistic, artistic image with a nude woman, that's fine by me. Just check the "Nudity" box.

Unfortunately you lost me. If you look at my gallery you'll see I don't have a single nude. (Well, one gag image, but that's about it.) Maybe one day I'll do one. Maybe I won't. It's not necessarily my thing. I clicked on your image because I thought I was going to see a very tasteful piece of art incorporating what looked to be a very impressive texture. Instead I get a cow and some knucklehead telling me why I clicked on his thumbnail in the first place. Yeah, what you say bothers me somewhat. (I'd love to get more hits on my images...) But if it bothers you so much, stop looking at what're obviously nudes and focus on the stuff that probably isn't. That's what I do. Curiously, for all your attitude, I hope youre leaving comments at or promoting the types of images that you swear WE should be spending more time with. Use of brains? Waste of energy? I don't think this accomplished the former and it certainly was the latter.
