Description

"Oops...We Have A Problem" No fishing today! Actually this image was taken a couple of weeks ago during the real cold snap. The harbour is subject to freezing when an Arctic front moves in causing the temperature to plummet downward however the main body of the lake itself doesn't ice up. Several years ago air bubblers were installed to maintain an ice free year round facility. However They didn't get turned on for some reason which meant it was home time and an oppertunity to take the camera elsewhere. Original image taken with a Canon Xsi Rebel.

Jeez, how very cold! We used to have a "dock de-icer" that bubbled around our dock to keep it from freezing in and damaging the floats. This is an excellent photo.

Brrrr! I can only imagine the damage the boat owners will discover when things thaw out... Neat image of a place and circumstance few of us would ever get to see. =) Stay warm out there~
