Description

The tools of a Dancer, the pegs the legs, the hoofs, what takes the Dancer from point to point, gives them speed, strength, grace...so much pressure on such small things... so much pressure which can destroy them.. but what beauty they may make in that destruction... I know a lot of older ex-dancers, men and women who would throw themselves with wild abandon into their dance, but the physical toll was immense. They still dance, just slower, modified... more grace than thrill. You use what tools you have, make the best of them, treat them well, and they'll work for as long as they can. Just like any tool, right. comments welcome, please enjoy!

So very interesting and different, to the gear they usually wear, when getting ready to dance - and who says, that you should only wear leotards & tights ? It's all about the circumstances - think Mick Jagger & David Bowie: "Dancing in the streets" - I know I did, when I spotted this fine image ... BB
