This is Staff sergeant Nuah, Syn. Ahn of the 413th armor team. Behind her is the Bolo Mk5a Main battle tank she was in command of during her tour with her unit assigned to Maristan. When her unit arrived on Maristan they numbered 700 all with combat experience. SSG Nuah re-enlisted to her unit to remain with them. Six months into the units tour SSG Nuah was in a forward observation position maintain a screen while Dragon company performed resupply. Her unit was tasked to hold a terain feature called "The pass" as it was the only high speed avenue large force could use to penetrate the secured area around starport. During the resupply the geshwan hunta clan began a blitz attack on the opposite side of the pass and directly on Dragon Company with long range artillery. At the same time the clan launched a ground offensive with a division plus of export models of the Bolo Mk4s. SSG Nuah seeing she was totally exposed and also noted that the support element of the unit was inside the pass unaware of the attack decided to lay her own covering fire and displace to the narrowest portion of the pass. It was there she dug in and opened fire. At several points during the fighting she coordinated with her Battalion return artillery. During the two hour firefight she was wounded in the arms and leg. She would order her driver and assistant gunner to leave the tank an assist the company first sergeant in evacuating the support personnel and vehicles which had taken damage from the enemy fire being concentrated on SSG Nuah's position. This left SSG Nuah totally alone on the tank to fend off the enemy. In which she expended all ammunition on her vehicle and her personal weapon. An enemy sapper team attempted to dislodge her and her vehicle. Using an Axe from the tanks pioneer tools engaged in hand to hand combat with the sapper team killing four and incapacitating six. SSG Nuah's actions gained time for General Wiiliamete to assemble a massive artillery barrage and cause the Hunta Clan's mercenary to disengage from the combat and fall back. The SSG then climbed back into her tank and with it's mine spikes plow a clear path opening up the pass for imperial forces to pursue the fleeing enemy. For these actions and for the selfless actions to safeguard the pass and the support personnel without regard to her personal safety. SSG Nuah has been named a recipient of the Imperial star. SSG Nuah now joins a group of 1293 past recipients in the 3000 year history of the award and becomes the 4th currently surviving recipients. SSG Nuah is the 15th female to receive the award and the 40th member of the Imperial army to receive the award. SSG Nuah has been asked by the Emperor to address the Imperial Senate and Moot to advise them of conditions on maristan that imperial forces endure. In the hopes that the senate can find a way to end a planetary civil war than the imperium has been a participant in for the 600 years the conflict has been ongoing. As it was by Senate mandate that the Imperium assist in the halting a civil planetary war.
