Description
Claudia Devane is security officer and arrives on the nightshift.we work on 4 shifts here in the base.
Since last evening Ute is running the new machine.a couple of things she has to get used to with win7 but only peanuts so to speak.
Although all went very well,the last operation almost broke my nerves and I lost over 3 hours on that one.
When I wanted to transfer the settings/contact/mails from her email client,the trouble started.
It did not wanted to register the new serial number,we don’t work with the free version of the prog we have licences for the “premium version”.
After an hour I found out that I had to unregister on the old pc and register anew on the new machine.
Then her data was too big,program can only transfer 700 mb.
Now the downside of the program is it stores all the attachments/images you send,
(really silly if you ask me) meaning Ute hat 1,4 giga data from over the years.
I had to delete the attachments manually and all that,i don’t name the application here but I tell you it was an incredible job (lol).
Anyway after a lot of shouts and swearing I got it going.was a good lesson to me,
this cost me almost more time than setting up the complete PC,and such things go really on my nerves wich are not the best anymore.
And when the adrenaline starts to boil I go on orbit like a rocket under the roof head-bang-bang-bang.
But then I was already suspicious because all went too smooth,you always have to pay the bill when something goes easy, one way or the other-lol,I almost lost my nerves on the last operation I can tell ya.
That’s what I said in my previous upload I am not a wonderboy, things can also go tricky on my PCs,sometimes but very seldom lol.

Data transfer is my least favorite thing to do on pc. Building a workstation from a bunch of parts on a table is what I really like. I'm like a little kid at Christmas with boxes of hard drives, motherboards, ram etc. Yal got me sidetracked, hehehe. Great scene Rene.

Great looking scene here, Rene! Sorry the old buggabear reared it's ugly head and caused you some misery. But these are the things the test your ingenuity and build character and stamina! I am glad to hear you survived the head banging on the ceiling. I have been there many many times in the past when I used to upgrade years ago. My current computer runs XP and I can't really put a date or a clear year as to when I bought it for my wife. I inherited it when she said it was going too slow for her. I got her a new one and she wore that one out. Then I got her another new one a couple years ago. I have had to do full restores (to factory original) on it several times since. But this old devil still keeps plunking along. Knock on wood! I started reading 'Green Mars' yesterday. It looks like another slow read, I am afraid. I vaguely remember parts of it from reading it years ago. Have a great day you two! Thanks for sharing you wonderful art and computer experiences!
